Muscat College won the prestigious “SQA Pride o’ Worth Award (Centers) 2017”

 

Muscat College has been awarded the highest accolade at this year’s Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Star Awards, at a glittering ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland held on 3rd November 2017 (https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/81636.html).

Muscat College was named as SQA’s International Centre of the Year for its outstanding commitment to learning.

In addition, the college emerged as winners of the coveted SQA Pride o’ Worth Award for the Centre, after facing stiff competition from various SQA centres around the world. SQA Pride O’ Worth Awards is the highest accolade awarded to an exceptional and inspirational centre selected from winners of various categories. John Swinney MSP, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education presented this award.

These awards are a mark of recognition for the College’s professional and pro-active approach towards delivering SQA Higher National Qualifications which exemplifies SQA’s values of being trusted, progressive and enabling. The College was highly commended by SQA for its good practices in marking candidate evidence, well maintained master folders and comprehensive quality assurance handbooks.
