Muscat College holds graduation ceremony for 248 students

The graduation ceremony at Muscat College, on Tuesday, 15th November 2016 saw 248 students being handed over certificates and awards for the completion of their courses.

These graduates represented the 18th batch of the College, comprising of 58 bachelor degree holders and 190 holders of diplomas in different specialisations, including business studies, accounting, computer sciences, quantity surveying, computer programming and engineering.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of H E Hamed bin Hilal al Ma’mari, Undersecretary for Ministry of Heritage and Culture for Cultural Affairs and in the presence of dignitaries, senior faculty members and students’ family members.

Professor Sharon Bolton, Dean of University of Stirling management School and Mr. Alistar Shaw, Head of International Programmes-SQA joined Muscat College for the ceremony.

Delivering the opening remarks, Sheikh Dr Ahmed bin Abdullah al Ghazali, the founder and Chairman of Muscat College, said, “We congratulate our graduates and their families who have been eagerly waiting for this day. Muscat College, with its academic mission, has not forgotten its social service through holding several training programmes and courses.”

He added that since it was established 20 years ago, Muscat College has always offered the best programmes through cooperation with foreign institutions.
