Dean’s Message
Muscat College was established in the year 1996 as one of the leading private higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, academically, it is linked with the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and University of Malaysia Pahang (Malaysia). Also, it has a link with the University of Stirling (UK).
Muscat College is committed to developing Programmes and academic experiences attractive to the education seekers, and contributing to the sustainable development objectives of the Sultanate of Oman Vision 20-40. Muscat College agreed with the University of Stirling to phase out the Programmes gradually in a smooth manner starting from the academic year 2022/23.
Muscat College strives clearly and consistently to achieve its mission and goals by providing a stimulating learning environment according to the highest quality standards. The College also considers scientific research as one of the important pillars of development, so it has devoted all the necessary ingredients for it. In addition to that, Muscat College considered training and community engagement as a very important pillars in the academic development cycle.
From its elegant modern campus, in Bowshar Street, which is located at Bowshar city in Muscat Governorate, Muscat College has responded to the Omani labor market needs and also takes care of international students in the college by helping them to integrate with Omani students with a wide spectrum of academic programs in the field of Information Technology (such as Software Engineering, Networking, Technical Support …etc.) and in the field of Management (such as Project Management, Business, Accounting …etc.).
Backed by the up-to-date academic facilities and infrastructure, the experienced faculty and administrative staff of Muscat College are diligently working and balancing the rigorous requirements of the academic excellence along with maintaining conducive and friendly university life to provide their students with quality education, knowledge and skills and orient them to be the entrepreneurs of their fields.
