The course deals with computer hardware and support techniques wherein candidates develop advanced skills in Networking, Data Communication, Hardware Installation and Maintenance. The course practically helps candidates to develop their skills necessary for the present environment.
The course is made up of core and optional units. Each unit has a credit value and it is linked with the number of contact hours per semester required for the study.
To complete HND Computing Technical Support the candidate has to achieve 30 credits in total, out of which 18 credits are core (mandatory) and the remainder 12 credits are optional. The framework is divided into three semesters in which units are divided into 5 credits per semester. The academic advisor will advise the candidate while choosing the units during the beginning of each semester and monitors the progress of the each candidate
