 B. A Honours in Accountancy and Business
Aims:

The accounting part of this programme provides students with the knowledge and skills to equip them for a career in all areas of accounting and a wide range of careers in business and finance. It does this by developing students' competence and practical skills in accounting while providing the relevant knowledge and understanding of accounting as it relates to the wider business context. This combined course provides candidates the required skills for preparation of financial statements, analysing business operations and applying generic quantitative models to a range of management accounting applications

The business part of the programme is to develop students with knowledge of business and management who will be able to handle successfully the complexity and uncertainty of the contemporary business environment. 

 
Career Opportunities:

Graduates with Accountancy & Business Studies could have wide choice of careers, including financial and management accounting, business analysts, they may also choose to work in a variety of organizations including local and international companies, government organizations, banking and insurance and trading organizations.
